Birth photography questions
Questions parents ask me about birth photography
What it costs, when I'm on call, how many photos you get and who sees them. Anything not here, text me.
Cost and area
What does birth photography cost?
Birth photography starts at $1,299 for The Engraved Birth. The Held Collection adds a maternity session, from $1,649. The Remembered Collection adds maternity and a newborn session, from $1,999.
What areas do you serve?
Dallas, Fort Worth, Mansfield, Midlothian, Waxahachie, and surrounding areas. I'm based in Waxahachie.
Your birth day
What if I go into labor at night or on a weekend?
Yes, I'll come. I'm on call for you 24/7 starting at 37 weeks, nights and weekends included.
What if you can't make it to my birth?
I still come for your postpartum moments, or a qualified backup photographer comes in my place at no additional cost. In my words: "Births don't always follow a plan. If something unexpected, like a very fast labor or an emergency, keeps me from arriving in time, I will still come to photograph your postpartum moments. If something unexpected keeps me from coming at all, a qualified backup photographer will be there at no additional cost."
Your photos
How many birth photos will I get?
100 to 150+, depending on the flow and duration of your birth.
How soon will I see my birth photos?
Within 24 hours, you get 5 sneak peek photos. The Remembered Collection also comes with priority editing and delivery.
Will you share my photos online?
Only if you want me to. You choose a full release, a faceless release, or no release. With a faceless release, I only share photos where no faces show.

Where do Fresh 48 sessions take place?
In your hospital or home, wherever your baby is in those first days.
